Ok I have given up putting my poems on this page. You can now find the remainder of Poetry Month  on my posts.

Charm for a Happier Working Day.
For staff to come,
Take one pinch of hope.
A dusting of desire,
And a small carrot of pay to wave ahead.
Plus, two unusual characters
With diverting gossip, with which to gloss over the day.
Then mix with time.
Taking care to not go over
And splash liberally with laughter.
Occasionally basting with caffeine, and chocolate
Before praising the result,
And blessing a smile.  3rd April 2014


I am surrounded.
In the dark.
The clash of scale on stones
Rattles my bones.
The breathless rush of belly upon the ground,
Crawls up my legs,
Without a sound.
The tap-tap-tap of nails,
Screeches across the rock
And all my thoughts run amok,
As I stare, at a pair,
Of glowing, green eyes.
I find myself, mesmerised.
As the dragons breath stirs my hair...
I am surprised to find.
I am not there,
But staring at the pages of a book.
Come with me, take my hand,
And let us steal another look...       2nd April 2014


Arrgghh!
You haven't blogged in a week,
My sister cried.
In a text.
On my phone.
But I haven't had chance to pop round
To see if you were home.
And you know I care,
Where ever you choose to roam.

Arrgghh!
I cried.
I haven't blogged in a week.
Nor have I spent the time to tweet
The ales I've drunk.
The places I've been.
I have stayed under the radar,
Life unseen.

Because I feel like it's chaining me in.
And I've run from my computer,
And the internet therin.
I don't want to feel that
I Have to!
Have to feed the addiction that slowly drifts in
And consumes us all.
The internet holds us all in thrall.
Arrgghh!
